Upcoming Appointments Available
We charge a $50 administration fee for tasks such as GeneSight workup (genetic testing), writing letters, and FMLA paperwork. We do not complete disability assessments.
We accept credit cards and debit cards. You may also be able to use your Health Savings Account for payment. Nashville Psychiatric Associate PLLC will provide you with a super bill so you can file for out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company upon request. You may wish to contact your insurance provider for information on your benefits. A payment method will be kept on file. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.
Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment by email, patient portal, or Spruce. Not confirming an appointment reminder does not cancel the appointment. Clients will be responsible for the full cost of any missed appointments.
Medication refills are typically given at the time of your appointment. For extenuating circumstances, you can contact us to refill a non-controlled medication. Refills need to be requested through the patient portal or Spruce with the following information: name, date of birth, phone number, exact name of the medication, medication strength (number of mg), how many times the medication is taken daily, and phone number of the pharmacy.
Any medication changes must be done during a follow-up visit, so we can fully assess your needs. We will work with you to schedule appointments in a timely manner to make appropriate medication decisions together.
Use of controlled substances is carefully considered and strictly monitored. Please be aware that we can only provide a limited number of refills. We will not necessarily continue controlled substances prescribed by past providers. Lost or misplaced prescriptions cannot be refilled. While we do not diagnose ADHD, we may treat ADHD with evidence of a formal diagnosis. If psychological testing is needed to determine a diagnosis of ADHD, we will refer you to a qualified provider. Controlled substance prescribing will be within the FDA approved dosage ranges.
You may contact your provider to schedule or reschedule an appointment, request refills, or ask a question through phone, Spruce, or the patient portal. All communication through these methods are HIPAA compliant. Please see the contact portion of this website.
We are not able to respond to psychiatric emergency. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or present to your nearest emergency room.
